Obeying the Environmental Laws in the Iberá Water Basin

Ecological, economic and social sustainability of the Iberá region depends on the proper management of state institutions and on the public participation of the citizens. Our governmental democratic system is based on laws which form the rules of society. Therefore, these laws are the institutional basis to assure the environmental preservation of Iberá.

CLT has supported the citizens in their legal battle against illegal embankments of the land constructed close to Yahaveré, which now has been sentenced to demolition

CLT has a team of technical professionals who have obtained information about the ecology, hydrology, legislation, use and holdings of the land within the Iberá Wetlands. This access of geographic and legal information has permitted the early detection of numerous illicit actions that would have had high impact of the Reserve and the Provincial Park of Iberá. The reporting of these acts are left to the citizens, municipalities, and province to ensure that the following of these laws has a place of immense value to all Argentines.
